Extended 2-day Ultrasound Course in Austin – Global FAST® POCUS Scanning and Ultrasound Guided Procedures Lab

The Advanced Global FAST® Point-of-Care Ultrasound Course is an intensive, two-day continuing education program designed to provide veterinarians with a practical and clinically applicable approach to point-of-care ultrasound. The program integrates the AFAST® POCUS, TFAST® POCUS, and Vet BLUE® (Veterinary Bedside Lung Ultrasound Exam) techniques into the comprehensive Global FAST® POCUS approach. The course emphasizes standardized ultrasound image acquisition, recognition of clinically relevant sonographic findings, and incorporation of point-of-care ultrasound into patient evaluation, triage, monitoring, and clinical decision-making. The course includes two scanning sessions: a 3 hour dry lab on ultrasound guided procedures and a 4 hour scanning lab on Global FAST image acquisition.
