Dr. Stephanie Lisciandro is Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in small animal internal medicine. Dr. Lisciandro graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in 1991. She then completed an internship and residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the Animal Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Lisciandro practiced veterinary medicine at the Animal Medical Center in New York City for 5 years. After her residency, she remained on staff at the Animal Medical Center for 2 years as a staff internist where she performed endoscopic services and ultrasonography for patients at the AMC. Her special areas of interest are ultrasonography, endocrinology, hematology and gastroenterology. She moved to San Antonio in 1997 and joined a local specialty referral practice. She started San Antonio Veterinary Internal Medicine Services in 2000 (renamed Hill Country Veterinary Specialists in 2011) and provides internal medicine consultations and diagnostic services for patients with a variety of internal medicine needs. She provides diagnostic services including but not limited to: ultrasonography, echocardiography, and endoscopy. Dr. Lisciandro has been happily married to Greg Lisciandro since 1994. They have four children, three miniature donkeys and a Maltipoo.
